Sooraj Pancholi’s Mother Zarina Wahab Had COVID-19; Was Put On Oxygen In Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital
With the number of Coronavirus cases on the rise globally, we saw several celebrities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora and others had contracted the virus. Now, ETimes has reported that Sooraj Pancholi’s mother Zarina Wahab had tested positive for COVID-19 and was put on oxygen in Lilavati Hospital last week. The senior actress was reportedly admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital and had acute symptoms which also extended to her being breathless.

The report in ETimes stated that after being admitted to Lilavati Hospital, the hospital authorities had put her on oxygen. She thankfully responded before ventilator services may have been required. It happened last week and she was reportedly admitted to Lilavati Hospital for 5 days. Her family seems to have kept the news under wraps and had only told a few close friends and relatives. Zarina was hospitalized under the care of Dr Jalil Parkar and he confirmed that Zarina had contracted COVID-19.

While speaking to ETimes, the doctor said, “Zarina had pain in joints, bodyache, fatigue and fever. And, her oxygen level was low when we admitted her." The senior actress has isolated herself at home and the doctor informed, “She has gone home. She is much better now."

Meanwhile, last month, Zarina Wahab had opened up about Sooraj Pancholi’s name being linked to Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager Disha Salian. While speaking to ABP News, she said that Sooraj is innocent and never knew Disha. Read more about it here.
